A blind man in the UK finally can see the face of his wife for the first time, after having dental implant surgery on his eyes. Martin Jones, 42 years old, had an accident 12 years ago which made his eyes not able to see again. However, owing to the revolution in the world of health, Jones is able to see around them clearly. The healing process is done with planting of a tooth in his eyes (dental implant). Teeth was planted to sustain a new lens which be taken from Jone’s skin.
“When the doctor opened my bandage, it is all clear as water, and I see my wife. She was truly beautiful and difficult to trust my view for the first time, “said Jones. Jones, from Rotherham, South Yorkshire marrying his wife, Gill (50) as much four years ago, so he is never seen his wife’s face. Workplace accidents make 37 percent of his body burned and loss of his left eyes.However, the right eye was successfully saved. The right eye has become the only hope for Jones to see around them. The process of healing Jone’s eyes operations done in the Eye Clinic Sussex, Brighton. According to Christopher Liu, doctors who operate Jones, the use of teeth in Jones’s eyes, because of doctors concerns that Jones may refuse brace made of plastic, so the way out, the doctor took one of the front teeth Jones. Operating as much healing takes eight hours. “I am very pleased to be able to see again, I have been blind for 12 years, and when I can see, everything back as change,” said Jones.
